Run the client.
Arkadia's product runs on your machine. The desktop client and its Rust daemon carry the full experience — intelligence and Gridlock worlds, end-to-end private comms, wallet and Monero, onion transport, and your node on the private ArkNet. The web is the account portal; the client is the product.
Linux ships first as a signed .deb and AppImage. macOS & Windows arrive with the CI signing runners.
For stable, auto-updating installs with verifiable provenance, add the ArkNet repository and signing key. Every package is GPG-signed; the key fingerprint is published on release. The repositories are being provisioned — the commands below are the install experience.
# trust the ArkNet signing key
sudo install -d -m 0755 /etc/apt/keyrings
curl -fsSL https://pkg.ark-nx.net/arknet.gpg \
| sudo tee /etc/apt/keyrings/arknet.gpg >/dev/null
# add the repository
echo "deb [signed-by=/etc/apt/keyrings/arknet.gpg] \
https://pkg.ark-nx.net/apt stable main" \
| sudo tee /etc/apt/sources.list.d/arknet.list
# install
sudo apt update && sudo apt install arknet-client# add the ArkNet repository
sudo tee /etc/yum.repos.d/arknet.repo >/dev/null <<'EOF'
[arknet]
name=ArkNet
baseurl=https://pkg.ark-nx.net/rpm/stable
enabled=1
gpgcheck=1
gpgkey=https://pkg.ark-nx.net/arknet.gpg
EOF
# install (imports the signing key on first use)
sudo dnf install arknet-clientSigning-key fingerprint published with the first release · verify before trusting.
